So, should I stop posting negative news articles?

After seeing Pantless Bard's outburst in the Serious section I gather people would rather not read the political news/blog articles that I put in the serious discussion section. I don't mind not posting them, just curious what y'all think.

I honestly don't care what you post in the political forum as long as it's relevant.

What I can do without is wording like "Pantless Bard's embarassing outburst." We don't have a lot of rules here, but the one we do have is repsect for your fellow posters. If you guys can disagree politically without going after each other then we won't have a problem.

I don't really see the problem with the news bits in itself. We all post them.

However, I think a lot of it comes from the percieved attitude you seem to give along with them.

I've got no problem with the posts themselves. It has a lot to do with the delivery.
Unsettling dreams plague the people of Arkham, while something terrible rages in the hills outside of Dunwich. A sickly mist crawls over ancient Kingsport and whispers abound of the pollution of Innsmouth’s bloodlines.

Indeed. The threads are no problem, in my view, but the baiting in them grows annoying. But I digress.

I'm far from Anti-American. I don't get where that comes from.

I am pretty negative, but that comes from elsewhere. And as you can see, I edited this almost immediately after I posted it to remove "Embarassing".

I'll just stick to positive stories from now on.

With topics like 'More waste in your country', how else do you expect others to percieve you?

Seriously, man, all viewpoints are welcome here, we just ask that you respect differing opinions and not throw out the veiled barbs here and there. Just play cool and everything is fine.

I suppose the way it was written might present it that way, but it wasn't the way I had intended.

I do dislike the current American regeme, but it isn't as if I dislike America. I was raised on GI Joe, it isn't really possible to dislike America after that :/

Anyways it's cool, I'll be more careful in the future.

You've been doing a lot to improve the Serious forum here. You should keep it up.

HAHAHA!!! I can't believe that this is the post resurrected by the bot. Unreal. Drifter pretending he's not a troll and Rotty encouraging him to keep "improving" the board. What a truly unwelcome blast from the past.

I think the most un-American thing on the board are bots. They may be exercising their freedom but they're ruining my pursuit of happiness. heh heh

This is why I use the "foes" feature now. It's just not worth getting into it with these dicks.

Lo, i struck my walking stick upon the ground, and transformed it into might Mjolnir, and smote the adbot and its posts into oblivion, never to return.
