TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN - News and Discussion

Can Batman really breathe in space? Who would win in a battle between John Byrne and Erik Larsen? Love your Transformers? Are you just nuts for mint-on-card in general? This is the place to talk about it!

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but here is some video of the Autobot vehicles in action:

I have a strong feeling that this might end up being the best thing ever.

Was that Scorponok?
I think I saw Scorponok!

Of course that was Scorponok... he wasn't destroyed in the last movie, just damaged.

Seeing Scorp and then Ravage immediately after in the trailer makes me happy in pants.

True, but this is the first confirmation we've had that Scorpy will be in the sequel. Given his "gimmicky" nature in the first film as a Transformer that can reveal the threat to Humanity while still allowing the main character soldiers to not get torn down in job lots, I honestly didn't see him returning for a sequel.

I hoped he would, yes. But he's one of those characters that could easily fall through the cracks and be disposed of, off screen and between movies.

It'd be cool if they actually show his robot mode at some point. It's fairly weak, but it'd be interesting.

It'd also be interesting if he hooks up with Soundwave now that Blackout isn't around to carry him around... heh.

He may have been gimmicky, but at the same time you have to remember just how much of an impact he has on the first movie. When he attacks, people hold their breaths.

55 seconds into the trailer... play it in slow motion (I use VLC)... three motorcycle looking characters chasing the car... but you can only see them for a few seconds. The lead one looks to be Arcee.

I thought all three combined into Arcee. I assumed they were each a component.

Yeah, from what we've been told...those three "Angels" are all Arcee.
