Long time coming ...

So i've always loved Pullips dolls, have wanted one since i first saw one what feels like eons ago and i started spreading the pullip madness to a few boards i used to frequent.

pullips are Ball-Jointed-Dolls, fancy-schmancy barbies to make a long story short, that are super customizable with eye chips to change eye colors, about a zillion different wigs and hair possibilities, clothes that rival real people clothes for detail, just cool little dolls ... with REALLY big price tags ... i refuse to pay 10 bucks for an mlp, i am NOT paying over 70 bucks for a damn doll! ... no matter how cute it is because i have never really been a doll person, hell i'm not a PEOPLE person. so i figured i'd always be a looker and an eye chip painter ( it's really creepy to paint random loose iris and pupils let me tell you) And then they introduced "Taeyang", the boyfriend to the seemingly never ending girly cute "Pullip" and i knew that eventually i would lose the war and have to get one ... it was a very short war because i was shown a picture of this taeyang by the name of Timulus "http://pullipstyle.com/pullipstyle/product_info.php?cPath=23_39&products_id=83" and i knew he would be my first Pullip or i would never have one.

well ... in 2-3 days Timulus should be home with me. It is a staple to rename the doll to make the "bond" closer and stronger. I'm goin to do it because i think he deserves a non-general name, so I think i've settled on "Billy Buddy" because the first thing i want to make him if i ever get past my non-existant sewing skills are two labcoats. one white, one red. and no. i did not pay that for him. i paid nothing but a LOT of time, blood, sweat, and tears into painting iris's and pupils and sculpting random horns/ear tips/etc etc for others. thankfully cred in the pullip community goes far and word spreads and there are still a few really decent people out there lol that or they got sick of having to send a reference head for sculpted bits lmao

I won't be doing much customizing on this guy as i think he's pretty damn perfect on his own, but he will probably achieve a wardrobe the likes of which no mortal has ever seen before! ... that is if i can learn to sew and make patterns for him lol

so just a girly squee of no great matter lol

EDIT:

HE IS HERE AND OH MY GOD! i've only handled disembodied heads and random eye chips, HE'S FREAKING HUGE! lmao

does anyone want to make him some boots, he needs new boots, his shoes are stupid ... lmao
Besides I find it frightening - to awaken and be unsure of everything you remember about life not being just part of a dream. Waking means I've slept, and sleep dissolves what certainty I have left.

unwanted pastel plastic equines are my drug of choice-that and the mountain dew that courses through my veins-LIKE RADIOACTIVE RUBBER PANTS!
