Alexis Denisof talks Wesley...

I picked up the new issue of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Magazine today, and among the great features is an interview with both Alexis Denisof (Wesley), and Tony Head (Giles).

The whole interview is good, but Alexis reveals a couple of winners. Evidently he had a habit of going pantsless for his behind-the-desk scenes:

AD: "...the fact I got so bored with all the scenes at the desk, that I eventually did all those scenes with my trousers around my ankles, just to keep it interesting for me. But eventually people caught on and the other actors would be in the scene, looking over and seeing if I had any clothes on. There's a lot in seasons Two and Three, and if I'm sitting at the desk, smirking a secret smile, you'll know why."

He also reveals that Joss had indeed larger plans for Wes/Illyria/Fred (and Angel/Nina), and that it would all have become more involved had the show went to a 6th season. However the cancellation news forced Joss to distill and compress everything into the last few episodes.

Indeed it would have, because season 5 was absolutely awesome. Season 6 may have been the finest season EVER in the Buffyverse.
