Sarah Michelle Gellar back on television

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly/Serenity. These are the works of our Lord, the almighty Joss.

Yeah, that is sorry. What up wit dat?

Nah, I don't think she's too incredible for words really. But I liked her character the same way I liked Gwen Raiden. That whole "bad girl" on the edge thing, y'know?

Buffy just got on my nerves. I know she shouldered a lot but I just never found myself really liking her.

But the ensemble cast was perfect together.

Bad girls don't do it for me. Those attitudes are always a mask for some sort of insecurity.

You are so right about that.

They're fun to watch, I think. I don't like knowing people like that.

I'd rather know Willow any day.

LOL

Also, not to beat a dead Slayer here but, from IMDB:

"Again, this one is from Joss: When Buffy died in season 1, her replacement was called (Kendra), so the Slayer line no longer moved through her. When Kendra died, Faith was called, and any future line would move through Faith. By the time Buffy died in season 5, whatever power activates new Slayers no longer recognized her. From that point, another Slayer would not have been called unless Faith died. "

Ergo, Faith is officially THE Slayer.

I've also always had a secret love for bad girls. If you knew some of the girls I went out with in junior and senior high school you'd understand. That may also be why I think Starbuck is the hottest of the BSG women. Also, I'm not inviting any spoilers from the current season, here. If she dies, or changes or some crap like that, I don't wanna know. I've seen season 3, but not 4.
Unsettling dreams plague the people of Arkham, while something terrible rages in the hills outside of Dunwich. A sickly mist crawls over ancient Kingsport and whispers abound of the pollution of Innsmouth’s bloodlines.

This is Lovecraft Country.

Bad Girls are more interesting to watch. Nice girls with a wicked streak are the best to know.

Which I stated in my above response by saying the line goes through Faith, right in that first sentence. And yet she was still never recognized as such in anything other than a mystical sense. So long as Buffy lived, every creature that feared a Slayer feared the one they considered THE Slayer, and that was Buffy.

All true.

I guess we get to like any Slayer we choose: Buffy, Kendra, Faith, little girl with baseball bat, larger girl who is sick of getting hit, Kennedy, you name it.
